Aalborg Queer Festival Goes DIV

Aalborg Queer Festival, Denmark, August 11-15 2009, is a DIY (do-it-yourself!) and non-profit event. It is a non-sexist and non-racist festival. It is about making a space for creativity and critical thoughts. A way of challenging mainstream culture and gender stereotypes. We welcome transsexuals, transgenders, homosexuals, bisexuals, androgynous people, butches, femmes, crossdressers, those, who don’t identify… and you make the list longer; anyone questioning gender stereotypes and existing categories in society.

We would like to invite everyone to come and be a part of creating the festival. Anything is possible; participating is what makes things happen!
