Embodiment: A Portrait of Queer Life in America
Photographer Molly Landreth, USA and filmmaker Amelia Tovey, Australia are working on making an archive of queer life in America titled Embodiment: A Portrait of Queer Life in America. And they want to make it free and accessible to you on their brand new website beginning in 2011. Their promotional video below contains sample interviews, footage from the road, a sneak peak of new prints and excerpts from videos.
Embodiment has recently been awarded the 2010 Robert Giard Fellowship from the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies at The City University of New York, as well as an Individual Artist Grant from 4Culture in Seattle. – Congratulations to Molly and Amelia!
