‘Beyond Me’ – an Indiegogo Film Project

My name is Fauna Echo, and I am a gender non-conforming movement artist and poet. My partner, Hanna, is an incredible emerging woman director and professional dancer. We are inspired to share the creative project that we are currently working on, which is a raw expression of our hearts.

The narrative dance film about gender identity has a desired length of 10-15 minutes. Our collaboration marks an exciting debut for us as we explore intimacy through film and the ever-shifting graceful nature of multidimensional consciousness. We are both deeply passionate about bringing the power of movement and dance to the screen as we explore LGBTQ narratives in film. Throughout the piece, we pay homage to the harmonious embodiment of both masculine and feminine spirits within a singular body. Our piece, Beyond Me, explores the themes of belonging in a world of opposing polarities within oneself, highlighting the resilience, courage, and openness required to embrace the union of it all.
