Norwegian Photographer Bolette Berg

Bolette Berg (1872–1944) was a Norwegian photographer. She and her partner Marie Høeg (1866–1949) ran a photography studio, Berg & Høeg Fotoatelier, in Horten Norway and later in Oslo (Kristiania). They made a living selling portraits and images of the Norwegian countryside. And they made their ‘private’ photos as the label on the forgotten box with glass negatives read that was found in Oslo in the 1980s, long after their death. Their collection is now held by Preus Museum, Norway’s national photo museum.
