In Plain Sight is a coalition of 80 artists, led by Cassils and rafa esparza, united to create an artwork dedicated to the abolition of immigrant detention and the United States culture of incarceration.
The panel with Cassils [Heather Cassils], Arshia Fatima Haq, & Dorian Wood, and introduced and moderated by Gayatri Gopinath, took place at NYU on October 13, 2023 as part of the Border Crossings: Global Migration in a Queer/Feminist Frame event organized by the NYU Intersectional Feminist/Queer Studies Collective, USA.
