Kaucyila Brooke – Artist’s Talk

Video (1:47:30): Mexico February 2023, queer feminist American artist Kaucyila Brooke talks about a number of her art projects, for example her early works such as Not Lying Down and 13 Questions, and her current works Kathy Acker’s Clothes and Tit For Twat. An important part of her work is documenting the social history of lesbianism. Her work has been featured in several international galleries and institutions: Commonwealth and Council, Los Angeles; Galerie Andreas Huber, Vienna; Forum für Fotographie, Cologne.
