Artist Linda Stein is an American feminist icon with Jewish roots who we are now pleased to introduce to our audience through a major exhibition and a donation to the Art Museum. Ever since the 1960s, Linda Stein has been devoted to the LGBTQ and feminist movement through her artistic practice. Working in everything from drawings, paintings, prints and collages to large sculptures, she explores themes of gender, power, persecution, and heroism.
