Metro Los Angeles – Artwork by Mickalene Thomas

Video (2:16): the first time queer artist Mickalene Thomas sees her artwork on the wall of the Metro corridor.

The Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project is an 8.5-mile light-rail line, with eight stations, serving the Crenshaw District, Inglewood, Westchester and surrounding area. The project will feature artwork integrated into the eight new stations. This video features the work of artist Mickalene Thomas.
