The exhibition “Monica Sjöö: The Great Cosmic Mother” is the first retrospective of Sjöö’s extensive corpus, where art, politics and spirituality are inseparable.’
The exhibition ”Monica Sjöö: Den stora kosmiska modern” (Monica Sjoo – the great cosmic mother) collects for the first time Sjöö’s extensive life’s work where art, politics and spirituality remained inseparable. Sydsvenskan (newspaper) writes: “The images are phenomenal as feminist statements. No hesitation, no determination – the brushstrokes are definite and strong”.
