Norway: Photography Day 2022 – Queer Edition

Video (31:24): Live stream from the Norwegian The Photography Day 2022 prize ceremony on August 27, 2022. The Photography Day 2022 is a “queer edition” with the 50 years anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality in Norway as an underlying theme.

The 61 photographers exhibiting on Photography Day this year have been selected because they explore gender identity in an interesting way through photography. The jury has selected three prize winners, and six photographers who will receive honorable mention. The winners are: First prize was awarded to Irina Werning (AR); second prize: Julieta Pestarino (AR); third prize: Shia Colon (FI/IR)
