Out In Africa Film Festival presents film by Zanele Muholi
The Out In Africa Film Festival will be screening a film, commissioned by the SABC and co-directed by Peter Goldsmid and Zanele Muholi, called ‘Difficult Love’. It is a portrait of queer visual artist Zanele, and her work.
They will be screening once in Jozi at Bioscope at 286 Fox Street on Monday, 25 October, and once in CT On Broadway (44 LONG STREET, Cape Town (corner of Hout Street) South Africa on Monday 1 November both will show at 7 pm.
About Zanele Muholi
Queer photographer and activist Zanele Muholi has documented her community for years to create a body of images that is welcomed by her community of queer black women in South Africa. As a visual artist she works with political issues such as homosexuality, HIV/AIDS, hate crimes, violence against women, poverty and unemployment as well as exploring her personal way of making women erotica.
