Agnes Noyes Goodsir (1864 – 1939)
Agnes Noyes Goodsir was born in Australia. From 1912 – 1920 she lived in Paris and London, before she finally settled in Paris with her companion Rachel Dunn. She has made several paintings of Rachel such as A letter from the Front / Girl on couch 1915 (0:24), Girl with Cigarette 1925 (0:41), The Letter 1926 (0:14), Morning Tea 1925 and The Chinese Skirt 1933 (0:18). Agnes left all her paintings to Rachel when she died in 1939. Rachel sent some 40 of them back to Australia.
