The book documents Roni Horn installation, shown at Mathew Marks in NYC in 1996, with 100 photographs printed actual size and full page. You Are The Weather (1994-1996) is Horn’s first photographic installation. It is a photographic cycle featuring 100 close-up shots of the same woman, Margret, in a variety of Icelandic geothermal pools. The publisher writes, ‘You are the Weather is an extraordinarily beautiful artist’s book, as minimal as it is complex. It confronts you with the mysterious surface of one woman’s face. The book is an intimate and erotic work of art, without ever being sexual or explicit at all.’
