Sarah Jane Moon writes: Every year hundreds of artists in Lewes, East Sussex, open their doors to the public for Artwave – a celebration of the arts over three weekends in September. This year I’m thrilled to join them for the first time with over 25 paintings and prints on display at VENUE 109 where I’m exhibiting alongside stone sculptor Guy Stevens.

Now in its 30th year, this is Artwave’s largest festival yet seeing more than 1000 creatives across 180 venues involved, with exhibitions in private homes, studios, potteries, windmills, railway stations, farms and churches. Nestled in the South Downs, the historic town of Lewes is just an hour’s train journey from London Victoria and perfect for a day trip.

The festival begins this Saturday 2nd September and we are open from 11am to 5pm Saturdays and Sundays, or by appointment during the week.
