The 10th Anniversary Of The LFT Artshow In Germany Is Comming Up Soon
The Lesben Früelings Treffen or just ‘LFT’ is the annual German lesbian festival of politics and culture. The motto of the 2010 festival is „Lesbians loosen the ropes – cast off between Hamburg and South Africa“.
The four day long lesbian-only festival (which is a lady of about 35 years) is each year hosted by a different city. This year the festival takes place in Hamburg. Apart from the workshops, talks and events (of which there will be 120!), the German lesbians and their foreign guests will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the LFT arts exhibition:
Saturday May 22, 2010 the ‘LTF kunstsusstellung 2010’ will be opened by a performance ritual by Leonie Gaul at 13.30, afterwards, at 14.30 Saza Schröder reads her text “let’s be banal, beloved.” Sunday May 23 the performance “unchanged” by Anne Kathrin Coordes takes place at 12.30 in the exhibition space. The ‘LTF kunstsusstellung 2010’ runs through May 24, 2010.
The artshow forms an integral part of this lesbian-only festival, so there is no separate access to the exhibition. You must join the festival i.e. get a day ticket, which is 40 Euros, if you want to enjoy this fine group exhibition.
