What effect do hormone uses have on emotions, sensations, sexual expression and desire? This touring video art exhibition presents the work of 15 artists and collectives who explore the immense role hormones have on our everyday life.

Transitional States exhibition has already toured Lincoln (Project Space Plus) and will soon be in London (Peltz Gallery). Throughout 2018 it will also visit Barcelona (Centre Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, CCCB), Spain, and Bologna (LABS Gallery Arte Contemporanea).

Exhibition curated by Giulia Casalini and Diana Georgiou (Arts Feminism Queer) as part of the Transitional States programme, developed and led by Dr Chiara Beccalossi (University of Lincoln) with support from the Wellcome Trust.
