“I could only imagine the number of blankets and the mothers whose bodies were covered with blankets simply because they were mourning the death of their children,” said acclaimed SA artist Zanele Muholi at their new exhibition where some of her work reflects on the Enyobeni tavern tragedy on June 26 2022 where 21 teenagers lost their lives.

Muholi’s self-titled, autobiographical exhibition is available to view from June 15 June to August 16 [2023] at Southern Guild gallery in Cape Town. – TimesLIVE Video
